The Squares - Port Coquitlam, Canada

Established in 2011, The Squares have a rotating membership of 12 to 20 singers, who sing at community events throughout the year as a quartet, and an award-winning chorus. The Squares have competed in local, regional and international Barbershop Harmony Society contests, and been featured on radio film and television.

The group is led by a music team, consisting of Sean Huston, Musical Director, David Cotton, Associate Director, Jeremy Wong, Assistant Director, and Sam Dabrusin, Arranger. Sean Huston, has been singing barbershop harmony since his first Quartet ‘The Shadows’ in 1990. He plays saxophone in several ensembles, and sings in two big bands. The Squares is the third Barbershop Chorus he has directed. He is married to an award-winning barbershop singer, has three children and two grandchildren.
