Taipei Philharmonic Youth & Children's Choir - Taipei, Taiwan
Founded in 1989, the Taipei Philharmonic Youth & Children's Choir (TPYCC) was established with the mission of enhancing children's choral music standards and fostering cultural awareness. The choir specializes in performing sacred music from various periods, as well as folk and children's songs from Taiwan, China, and around the world. By providing professional music training in an engaging and joyful environment, TPYCC enables children to swiftly immerse themselves in choral singing, experiencing the beauty and joy of music. The choir is also committed to public service, participating in various charitable events to promote a healthy, happy, and harmonious childhood through music education.
Xiang-yun Fu is a distinguished Taiwanese choral conductor with nearly 30 years
of experience in choral music education. She serves as the permanent conductor of the
Taipei Philharmonic Youth and Children's Choir and the Taipei Philharmonic Women's
Choir, and the music director and conductor of the Harmonia Male Choir. She also conducts
the NTUT Choir and is a full-time music teacher and choir conductor at Nanhu
High School.
