Campanella Children's Choir - USA

Campanella Children's Choir, established in 2000, is the heart of Campanella Educational Center, fostering creativity and cultural understanding through choral singing. Emphasizing diversity, the choir performs in multiple languages and has earned accolades, including Gold Medals at the National Heritage Festival, performances on WFMT Classical radio, and at Carnegie Hall.

In 2023, Campanella won second place in the Children’s and Chamber Choir categories at the International Choral Festival Kathaumixw in Canada, with two soloists securing first-place honors. They also performed at the American Choral Directors Association Fall Convention, reinforcing their reputation for excellence.

Marianna Kosaya, Campanella’s Choir Director, was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and shaped by her experience with the renowned children’s choir Shchedrik. She holds an M.A. in Music Education and Choir Conducting from Kiev State Pedagogical University. After immigrating to the U.S., she founded Campanella and transformed it into a competitive ensemble. As Artistic Director, she also maintains an active teaching and collaborative music career in Chicago. In 2023, she was appointed Children’s Choir Repertory Chair for the Illinois American Choral Directors’ Association, and in 2024, she was a guest conductor for the Elementary Chorus Festival at Olivet Nazarene University.

Campanella remains dedicated to inspiring young singers, celebrating cultural diversity, and fostering artistic excellence for future generations.
