Choir and Vocal Solo CompetitionsELIGIBILITY Participating choirs and soloists may enter various competitions. The competition is open to all amateur choirs and soloists. The competitions are judged by a jury of internationally renowned musicians. First and second prizes are awarded in each category. First prize winners perform in the Kathaumixw Awards Concert. An amateur choir is defined as being one that rehearses regularly, and whose individual members do not receive a professional fee.
