Ragazzi Boys Chorus
The Ragazzi Boys Chorus from the United States was founded in 1987 by Joyce Keil and Caroly Watts with seven boys and a budget of $800.00. Ragazzi now has over 150 boys singing at five chorus levels. One of the premiere choruses in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ragazzi appears regularly with the San Francisco Symphony (sharing a Grammy Award), San Francisco Opera, Opera San Jose and many others. The choir tours to domestic and international destinations and festivals that provide broad educational experiences and develop Ragazzi’s reputation for excellence. Ragazzi released four CD’s between 1997 and 2005. Plans are underway for a special 20th Anniversary CD.
