“BOYAN” choir was founded in 1992 and since that time has performed at every important cultural event in Brody and the Lviv Region in Ukraine. The choir has won many regional choir competitions and was awarded a diploma at the All Ukrainian Festival “Povstanski Nochy” and at the “Kolyada” an international music competition. Its members are people of different ages and professions and all of them are in love with choral music and keeping alive their national culture through performances. “Boyan” keeps alive the national traditions of choral music. The choir’s repertoire is extensive and varied including sacred music, choral classic music, folk music and modern Ukrainian music.

Yarolsav Lyniv is a graduate of Drohobych State Pedagogical University Music Department.
