Sacramento Children’s Chorus

The nationally acclaimed Sacramento Children’s Chorus was established in 1993 and continues to provide excellence in choral music education and performance opportunities to talented children in the greater Sacramento, USA community. Over 180 singers participate in a progressive program that consists of five choirs. The singers are required to audition for all levels of the program. The touring choir has delighted audiences at home and abroad. The Sacramento Children’s Chorus performs with the Sacramento Choral Society and Orchestra and the Sacramento Opera Company. In 2005 it appeared at the prestigious National Convention of the American Choral Directors Association.

Lynn Stevens

Lynn Stevens began her choral music career while a student at the University of Southern California. She sang professionally and toured internationally with the Ray Coniff Singers, singing in concert with the Norman Luboff Choir and later performed and recorded with the Carpenters. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from the University of Southern California and began her teaching career in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Ms. Stevens teaches in the music education department at the California State University, Sacramento.
