Central Coast Grammar School Choir

Central Coast Grammar School is an Independent Co-educational school set in a bushland setting 70 KM north of Sydney, Australia. Choral and Instrumental music is encouraged at the school and all students begin their music education by singing in the Infants Choir. The Performance Choir was formed by Elizabeth Fiatarone in 2003 to provide existing Senior Choir members with more challenging repertoire and performance opportunities. During the past three years the CCGS Performance choir has participated in Eisteddfods, School and Community Concerts, Competitions and Music Tours. Through musical experiences it is hoped to provide opportunities for the expression of emotion, intellect and the imagination, to foster an understanding of different values, as well as make connections between different times and cultures.
