Christ the King Church Choir
Taking part in the International Choral Kathaumixw this year will mark the fourth appearance for Christ the King Church Choir from Uganda. In 1998 it won first prize in the Folk Category. The Choir was established in 1936. It has over 90 members who sing and lead the faithful during the 10:00 am Mass every Sunday. In addition to the Sunday Mass the choir performs at weddings and baptisms, Thanksgiving and Requiem masses, Ecumenical Services and state functions. At Easter and Christmas performances based on works by local and international composers are presented. | |
