Adelaide Chamber Singers

Adelaide Chamber Singers is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading chamber choirs. Formed in 1985, the choir has toured within Australia on several occasions and performed at a number of Australia’s major arts festivals. Adelaide Chamber Singers has also toured the UK, Norway, Singapore, Japan and the USA, and represented their country at both the inaugural Asia South Pacific Symposium in 2001 in Singapore and at the 6th World Symposium on Choral Music in the USA in 2002. The choir’s repertoire is wide-ranging and manifests a strong commitment to contemporary Australian choral music.

Carl Crossin

Carl Crossin – conductor, educator, clinician, adjudicator and composer is the founder/director of the Adelaide Chamber Singers and Director of Choral Activities at Adelaide University’s Elder Conservatorium’s opera productions. He has been a clinician and conductor at summer schools, festivals and conferences throughout Australia and internationally, and has served on state and national councils of the Australian National Choral Association.
