Melbourne Welsh Male Voice Choir
This Australian Choir was formed in 1984 and since that time has grown from a small group of enthusiastic choristers into one of the country's most acclaimed male choirs. The Choir receives strong support from the Welsh community and maintains a strong Welsh repertoire and also attracts a widely diversified audience because of the very breadth and variety of its repertoire. It is warmly encouraged by the great Choirs of Wales and their musical staff and has invited Alwyn Humphreys (Music Director of the Morriston Orpheus Choir), Glynne Jones (Music Director of the Pendyrus Choir) and Colin Jones (Music Director of the Dolin Jones Singers and founder of the Rhos
Male Choir) to Australia. The Choir has given performances in many of the
major venues of their country and has toured overseas several times.
