Hamilton Children's Choir

Founded in 1975, the Hamilton Children's Choir of Canada provides young people auditioning for the Concert, Chamber or Preparatory Choir with professional choral training. Music appreciation is stimulated by exposure to works from representative composers, styles and periods. Their mission is to contribute to cultural life through regular, high caliber performances of choral music; and to promote a cultural exchange of music nationally and internationally. Touring North America and Europe, the choir has earned international recognition for their performances, notable with Broadway's Derrick Smith, England's Peter Karrie and Celine Dion. They have received an Offical Coat of Arms signifying contributions they have made to Canada.
