Accommodation & Meal Information For Participants

The Festival Housing Committee reserves hotel rooms in the community and assigns these rooms to festival participants to maximize use of available space. Accommodation needs are processed in order of participation deposits received. Accommodation is limited; children and youth choirs may share 4 or 2 per room and adults 4, 2 or 1 per room. Most rooms have 2 double beds.

The accommodation package includes the cost for your hotel room, meals, gratuities and all taxes. Meal packages include breakfast and dinners in restaurants with a variety of menus and lunch is delivered to the festival site. The Festival provides transportation to and from meals as necessary.

Approximate costs for Children and Youth Choirs based on 4 sharing will be $65.00 - $85.00 CDN ($43.55 USD - $56.96 USD) per person per day. Adults based on 2 sharing will be $75.00 - $120.00 CDN ($50.25 USD - $80.41 USD) per person per day. You will be advised of the exact cost of hotel and meals when we receive your registration deposit and have placed your choir in appropriate accommodation.

The official currency of Kathaumixw is the Canadian dollar. US funds quoted for global comparison only.
