One Accord - Canada

One Accord began 14 years ago, when a group of seasoned musicians were drawn together by their mutual love of choral singing. Some of the original members have proudly remained part of One Accord since its inception. The choir is focused on learning and performing a wide variety of choral music, and then sharing their music with their community.
One Accord recently represented Alberta at the Unisong choral festival in Ottawa where we were part of a mass choir that performed with the National Arts Centre Orchestra on Canada Day.  We are very excited to part of the Kathaumixw Choral Festival in Powell River.

Conductor Elizabeth Paynter

Elizabeth Paynter has been an elementary music specialist with the Calgary Board of Education for more than 25 years, and has been directing choirs in the Calgary choral community for almost as long. Choral music is her passion, and she currently directs five choirs in the city, ranging from children to adults.
